hold on. let go.

as we prep for our next ultrasound tomorrow, my mind goes back to our missed miscarriage in February. we went in to that room full of excitement, only to leave that room with no choice but to let it all go.

pregnancy after miscarriage is no easy feat.

you feel stuck in an endless cycle of trying to figure out how much to HOLD ON to and how much to LET GO of.

should you hold on to the excitement of this new life? or let go of your dreams and trust the Lord? how do you let go of your fears in the middle of holding onto hope? sometimes it takes more strength to let go than it does to hold on.

so, for any mamas navigating loss, grief, or pregnancy after loss - it’s normal to feel confused. it’s ok if it’s harder to let go than it is to hold on. you’re not alone.

hold on to hope in the Lord, for He doesn’t change. take as much time as you need to let go. remember, this endless cycle is a natural part of grieving in your humanity. rejoice in the fact that Jesus SAVES, Jesus RESTORES, Jesus brings ETERNAL HOPE!

He gives strength to the weary, dear friend - you don’t have to navigate this process alone!
